The Company

A New Zealand owned and operated company who have been operating for a number of decades in the engineering space. The order book is jammed full as the outlook for 2022 and beyond looks very good.

The Role

Due to the incumbent moving overseas permanently we are on the hunt for their replacement. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be part of a small finance team of three and be responsible for;

• Preparation of financial statements
• Monthly management reports
• Job costing
• Reconciliations
• Month End journals
• Assisting with budgeting
• Payroll
• Reviewing the accounts assistant’s work including AP, debtors and GST returns

About You

You don’t need to be qualified for this role but we are looking for someone with a broad skillset coupled with the ability to provide direction to, and develop, the Accounts Assistant.
