Assembly Technician – Conversion
Description
We are looking for a talented Assembly Technician to join our team at our Mississauga Plant.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with direct guidance.

Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.

Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
-
Minimal or no work experience required.
-
Reclaiming E1500 Plates on chemical tank station
-
Operating LWB Molding Press; problem solving when parts are defective
-
De-flashing plates molded
-
Inspection of plates produced to ensure quality standard is met

Entering data in excel sheets; keeping daily production report up to date during shift
-
Performing mold changes
-
Setting up and operating dry ice machine
-
Operating mold release spray gun
-
Operating vulcanization oven
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our Company Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
