Dairy Farm Management Services Hiring for Dairy Unit Manager – 700 cows Job at New Zealand Full Time

Rimanui Farms Ltd. owns and operates three dairy farms near Hororata in Central Canterbury. They want to employ a Unit Manager to manage the operation of one of these dairy units.

The farms are being developed to a high standard and are conveniently located in the Hororata district just 30 minutes from Christchurch and close to rural service centers. The Owners are seeking to employ skilled and motivated “hands-on” managers to fill this role.

The successful candidates will have:

• A passion for dairy farming.
• A strong focus on people and workplace safety.
• Experience with irrigation and farm machinery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of irrigated dairy farm compliance requirements.
• Strong financial management skills.
• A thorough understanding of dairy farming systems.
• Very strong animal and pasture husbandry skills.
