Position Overview:

As the Head of Agency (NZ), you will be instrumental in achieving our vision of excellence. You will drive sales and client management efforts within NZ, oversee a team of social media managers, develop and contribute to strategic proposals & content plans, and ensure that our agency remains at the forefront of the market. You will be responsible for building a positive culture in line with our values, delivering top-notch team leadership and effective management of our systems and processes to ensure Daring Digital delivers quality work in the most productive and seamless way possible.

Responsibilities:

• Foster and expand client relationships, securing long-term partnerships and driving revenue growth. 
• Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new business and showcase our agency’s capabilities. 
• Oversee content strategies and implementation across diverse platforms, optimising client results.
• Lead our dedicated NZ team, nurturing talent, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in line with our values.
• Manage and continuously improve our systems and processes to build the most effective and efficient team.  
• Manage and mitigate social media crises and negative publicity situations with professionalism and strategic thinking.
• Manage health and safety compliance for the agency, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current with social media trends, innovative strategies, and emerging technologies to provide clients with cutting-edge recommendations.
• From time to time this role may be expected to perform other such duties within their experience and capabilities in response to the changing nature of our work environment. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with a strong track record in account management and sales.
• Experience and/or understanding of social media and content marketing. 
• Proficiency in agency team leadership, client relations, and managing multiple clients. 
• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment:

Pay: 

Senior base salary + commission.
