About the Opportunity

Digital Management, LLC (DMI) is seeking a full time REMOTE Senior Maximo Developer to provide hands-on, day-to-day support and enhancement of a Maximo System for a public sector client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Resolve application, interface, workflow, reporting and data integrity issues.
• Provide expert guidance on Enterprise Asset Management best practices
• Preform release migration, performance testing and tuning, upgrade and patch installation and testing
• Support and enhance integration components between applications, including Java and PL/SQL
• Develop plans for improving the stability and supportability of existing package and custom applications
• Provide production support to analyze day-to-day issues and respond quickly to resolve problems, minimizing the business impact
• Meet with project managers and team leads to support prioritization and clarification of customer needs
• Maintain the security and integrity of application software

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

• 7-10 years experience supporting IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software is required.
• 7-10 years programming experience developing database-driven business applications preferred.

Required Skills/Certifications:

• Experience with IBM Maximo 7.x application configuration and support (e.g., Maximo Integration Framework, Java, and BIRT report writing)
• IBM Maximo 7.x installation and upgrade experience
• Experience with Maximo Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer and Database Configuration applications that are used to configure Maximo
• Oracle PL/SQL development experience
• Experience with the following:

• IBM InfoSphere Datastage ETL data integration
• IBM Websphere Application Server (6.1 and 7.0)
• IBM Websphere/JMS Administration experience including familiarity with LDAP, SSO and clustered environments
• IBM Websphere Portal
• IBM Websphere Integration Developer
• Microsoft Windows and UNIX server environments
• Knowledge of the Maximo Object Structure
• Research, documentation and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues

Desired Skills/Certifications:

• IBM Certified Deployment Professional — Maximo Asset Management v7+ and/or IBM Certified Advanced Deployment Professional – Maximo Asset Management
• Extensive knowledge of JAVA development and JAVA class file structure
• Proven ability to produce technical designs and/or code for JAVA extensions
• Extensive knowledge of server-side programming
• Strong knowledge of Maximo, including the Maximo Application Designer, Maximo schemas/tables/ relationships and Maximo Workflow Designer
• Experience in writing Maximo custom classes (not just Java classes).
• Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal and human relations skills.
• Experience with the Agile development methodology is a plus

Location: Remote work, except for meetings and troubleshooting/testing at customer facilities in Washington, DC area
