DIOSA Downey Hiring for Front of House Dishwasher at Downey, CA Full Time

Purpose:

The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout their assigned area of responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the highest level possible of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, which will meet or exceed Federal, State, and Local standards
• Rack all China and glassware according to dish room standards for FOH
• Ensure all ware is clean and sanitary before removing from FOH dish room areas
• Take out trash as needed
• Maintain equipment quality thru preventative maintenance and cleaning
• Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws
• Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
• Ensure complete and proper check out procedures
• Inform management of any complaint, comments, or incident
• Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed
• Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned

Knowledge/Competencies:

• Proper lifting techniques
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Consistent positive attitude and works well with others

Education/Work Experience/Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Food Handlers Card

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 8-10 hours per week
• Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs.
• Will frequently walk, reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate, and key in data
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish
