About The Role

We have an opportunity available for an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Corporate team in Auckland. We are looking for someone with experience in general corporate with a focus on M&A transactions, including in particular private equity and venture capital deals.
Our Corporate team is recognised for its cross-border expertise and workflows, its strong client base, and its pragmatic, commercial approach. For the 12th consecutive year, DLA Piper was the highest-ranked legal advisor in the world for M&A deal volume, according to Mergermarket. Internationally, the firm was involved in 1,104 transactions worldwide in 2021, valued at approximately US$242 billion. As well, DLA Piper New Zealand won M&A Deal of the Year at the 2022 NZ Law Awards.
The team has an outstanding reputation. We advise on complex corporate structuring, investment and transactions, and capital raising. The team has a diverse and interesting client base including some of New Zealand’s and the World’s biggest names and brands.
