Downside School is housed in magnificent buildings set in a 500-acre estate at the foot of the Mendip Hills twelve miles south of the city of Bath. The School is mainly boarding with a good number of day pupils who are all integrated well.
Downside promotesa love of scholarship combined with a lively sense of tradition and is dedicated to educating young people to thrive in the 21st Century. It values individuality, character and achievement of excellence academically, culturally, in sport and in the wider curriculum whilst guiding young people to live together positively within the school community.
