Pastoral Tutor required to join a well resourced Sixth Form College in the Tutorial & Enrichment teams supporting learning across all curriculums. This a part time role for 2 to 3 days per week.

• £130 to £150 per day

As a Pastoral Tutor within the college you will work alongside teaching staff to provide pastoral support for learners across the whole curriculum; to improve attendance, retention, achievement and encourage positive progression to enhance the quality of the learners journey.

Pastoral Tutors will deliver a prescribed tutorial curriculum through weekly group tutorial sessions to develop the learners’ broader skills and knowledge. You will help contribute to their social and emotional development.

Previous experience in a similar Pastoral Tutor role is preferential but not essential. You will be a good role model able to elicit the best from developing youths in order to give them the qualities they need to flourish in society post college life.

Good communication skills are essential.
