About the role

We are currently seeking a Customer Sales Advisor on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling Euronit and Viriform Brand products to farm builders, steel fabricators, industrial roofing & cladding contractors. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor in Athy.

Main duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Follow up on inbound sales leads and qualify new leads by making outbound sales calls to maximise sales opportunities.

Liaise closely with Lead Development Representative and External Sales to ensure leads are identified and followed up correctly in a timely manner.

Record, track and follow up Sales Opportunities using Salesforce OneCRM system.

Successfully achieve volume, revenue, and margin targets.

Provide quotations, follow up, process orders, ensure payment and organise delivery of goods.

Liaise and support Customers / Merchants / Sales Representatives with regard to: Enquiries, Order processing and Stock availability.

Build and maintain effective relationships with both external and internal customers.

Ensure all relevant data is entered promptly and correctly in OneCRM and on SAP system.

Ensure that the customer is informed when it comes to order delivery/changes.

Ensure that credits and debits are processed as per agreed company targets.

Liaise with logistics/transport on all transport enquiries/queries.

Liaise with production/purchasing on product availability enquiries/queries.

Ensure returns are processed efficiently in line with the company’s ‘return of goods’ policy.

Meet annual KPI’s as agreed with Supply Chain Manager in line with overall company targets.

Identify new and innovative ways of improving service flexibility.

Provide cover and flexibility in the areas of Customer Service & Transport when required as outlined by the Supply Chain Manager.

Fully participate and co-operate in all areas of Health and Safety.

Facilitate payment transactions through credit control and credit card facilities.

Request pricing on bought in products for metal and price customers

Candidate Profile:
Demonstratable relevant experience of closing sales.

Very bottom line/results orientated, and target driven

Proven experience of good customer relations

Good written and verbal communication to include excellent telephone manner

Ability to work on own initiative and well as part of a team.

SAP ERP experience an advantage

A relevant business qualification would also be an advantage

Fluent in English (Written & Oral)

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

Full Clean Irish Driving Licence

Additional travel may be required from time to time.
