Faber Orthodontics Hiring for Front Desk Receptionist and Insurance Coordinator Job at Melville, NY Full Time

We are a Family Run Orthodontic Practice that is looking for the RIGHT person to join our team. If you are an energetic, self-motivated, experienced individual who would like to join our team, then we want you to be the Happy Smile that greets every patient every day.

This position demands excellent customer service skills to talk to patients and parents to accommodate their appointments, finances and our schedule.

Ideally, we would like you to have experience with dental insurance (preferably Orthodontics) in filing claims and coordination of benefits. However, for the RIGHT person, we will train you for the position.

Hours are:

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays are from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (1 hour lunch).

Tuesday’s are from 11am to 6:30 pm (1 hour lunch). Thursdays will be 9-3 pm.

One Saturday morning per month from 8:15 am to 12 noon.

Paid hours are 40 hours per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $24.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We have installed Plexiglass at our front desk. We have Hand Sanitizer available as well as taking each patient/person’s temperature in the office along with COVID specific questionnaires.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
