Beeston Fields Primary School and Nursery are looking to appoint a Class Teacher to provide high quality, supportive, engaging, teaching for the pupils in our school. Beeston Fields in a two-form entry primary school, serving a vibrant and diverse community. The children bring a wealth of cultural experiences and almost half speak English as an Additional Language. We see this as a significant strength of the school alongside our reputation for supporting the children’s social and emotional needs. Standards are high in the school and several staff are deployed across the Trust as specialist teachers in their area of expertise, offering support and guidance to others. The school is also a lead school for the Flying High SCITT programme and therefore has a reputation for its strong standards of teaching and learning.
Beeston Fields Primary School and Nursery, is part of The Flying High Partnership which consists of two distinct parts: Flying High Trust and Flying High Futures. Flying High Trust is a Multi Academy Trust of 30 primary schools across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Nottingham City. Our Flying High family work hard to deliver the best possible opportunities to our children. Through this partnership we are proud of our achievements and are recognised as one of the highest performing Multi Academy Trusts (MAT) in the country. Flying High Futures provides professional learning internally for staff across the Trust, and externally through Department for Education national programmes. Forming part of Flying High Futures is the Flying High Teaching School Hub, Flying High English Hub, and the Flying High cohort of Inspiring Leaders teacher training.

Your core duties will be:
- Planning effective early years provision and teacher-led sessions for children in YR
- Teaching high quality phonics lessons and ensuring that early reading has a high profile
- Ensuring the safety, well-being and happiness of all the children
- Working closely with other team members, parents and the wider community to secure high standards for our pupils
