You’ve been a TA, LSA or Teacher and there’s been one student in your class that needs more support than others. Sound familiar?

As a teacher, you’ve got to think about the class and dividing your time between 30.
As a TA or LSA, you need to focus on several students that need your support.
As an Education Specialist with Fresh Start, you can engage one young person with their education.

We’re looking for candidates from all walks of life, with a variety of experience engaging young people in their education, supporting them with their barriers to learning outside of a school environment.

What does a typical day look like?

• Support young people who cannot access education – we work with them outside of the school environment
• Flexible working hours – sessions can be 3-5 hours with a young person (Monday to Friday)
• Work with children who have SEND & SEMH needs
• Inspire the hope for a better future

What are we looking for?

• 2-years minimum experience in SEN/education
• Experience delivering a primary/secondary/functional skills curriculum is advantageous
• Commitment and understanding of Safeguarding
• Experience in engaging young people with often complex & challenging behaviours
