Who We Are
With three campuses along Colorado s Front Range, Front Range Community
College (FRCC) is the state s largest community college. We enroll close to
28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a variety
of cultural and recreational activities.
Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-year
universities. FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that prepare
students for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than
5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earning
college credit without having to pay college tuition. And we were recently
ranked as one of the Top Online Colleges in the country by Newsweek.

Who You Are
As a part-time clinical instructor in the Nursing Department you provide
clinical instruction with students for 3 days at a local long-term care
facility, including post-conference time, grading, paperwork. This will
involve clinical hours observing students practice their skills, paired with
real C.N.A.s in the facility.
You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop
innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of
students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize
technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students critical
thinking skills.
You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet
the needs of the College.
SELECTION PROCESS: Position will remain open until filled with a strong need
for the Spring 2024 semester.
Preliminary screening will be made on the basis of completed application
package submitted by candidate. Completed application package includes:
A resume;
A letter of interest;
A copy of official transcripts;
A one-page statement of your teaching philosophy; and
A list of courses and the semesters you have taught.
Please note: This is an on-campus position with the opportunity for hybrid
remote opportunities. All qualified candidates will remain in a talent pool
for future consideration and need to be residents of Colorado by the first day
of employment.
SALARY: $36/hour
BENEFITS: Part-Time Instructors will have their hours measured on an annual
basis to determine eligibility to enroll in medical health insurance only for

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience in nursing or nursing aide.
Hold an active, unencumbered nursing license, registration, authority, or
certification in their field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE:
Two years experience as a nurse or CNA.
