WHAT TO EXPECT

As an Account Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop, secure and manage products/product lines with assigned accounts and maximize opportunities with customers that are in line with strategic and tactical plans regarding profitability, growth, and market leadership. This position works closely with program (project) managers and systems engineers and develops, manages, and coordinates new business opportunities to meet or exceed company strategic and tactical plans for profitability, growth and market leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop sales budgets and forecasts. Implement and drive strategic plans to meet strategic and tactical plans as well as generate additional revenue.
Conduct feasibility and marketing research studies.
Participate as a team member to suggest changes in strategies or services provided to respond to changing market conditions.
May have domestic or international responsibilities.
Acts as the Voice of the Customer within the organization.

ABOUT YOU
8 Years of experience; 5 years specific
Comprehensive knowledge of products and markets
Experience working in Automotive Industry either in a Commercial or Technical role.
Knowledge of factors affecting profits and ROI
Demonstrated forecasting and planning skills
Strong selling, marketing and negotiating skills
Demonstrated program management capabilities
Establish executive sponsors within targeted end user accounts. Identify and map internal customer influencers and anti-sponsors.
Lead as required the negotiation of contracts and development of proposals for large procurement opportunities.
Develop appropriate level relationships within targeted end user accounts. Identify key decision makers.
Ability to coordinate activities of other team members as needed and manage all aspects of customer programs/systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to contribute to the development of sales budgets and forecasts
Ability to provide uncompromised customer service
