POSITION SUMMARY:
Contract position for 3 months.
This position will plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of human resources and personnel. To enable The Gates Windsor Operations to meet its business plan objectives through the effective utilization and management of the Human Resources/Industrial Relations functions within company policy, and government legislation. This will be achieved by developing, implementing, and administering policies, programs and procedures regarding human resource planning, recruitment & selection, training & development, performance management, and pay & benefit administration. Oversee facility wide training, and employee appreciation events. Oversee communication for facility wide including plant meetings. Provide guidance to plant operating management and employees in aspects of labour relations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
including orientation checklist, training checklists/matrices, and 6-month reviews for all departments
KEY SKILLS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be proficient in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
2 or more years in a similar role considered an asset
Experience with instruction or training
Recent graduates with education in a related field are encouraged to apply
