General Motors Hiring for GM National Warranty Supervisor (Level 7) Job at Toluca Full Time

The different responsibilities for a National Warranty Supervisor include the following:

• Assure the proper usage of the Global Warranty Management (GWM) system to manage the warranty transactions
• Supervise the work for a group of GM employees and outsourced employees
• Manage the GM’s warranty budget
• Review, discuss and approve new or any modification to existing Warranty Policies and Procedures
• Assure the GM dealer network is properly trained in Warranty topics
• Resolve conflicts with dealers related to warranty audits and debits
• Review and adjust the empowerment matrix as necessary
• Search for ways to get warranty reductions without compromising the customer’s satisfaction
• Assure the Warranty payment for labor is up to date in Mexico and GMCC Markets
• Work closely with other functions that requires either guidance or support from the Warranty Team (Legal, Marketing, Sales and Service, Field Actions, Service Engineering, Finance, etc.)
• Estimate the annual budget and keep monthly records on Warranty expenses

• Bachelor’s degree, preferrable in Engineering
• Knowledge and experience in vehicle components and repairs
• User of MS Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook (or equivalent e-mail/calendar app)
• Ability to manage, resolve, document, and close complex cases
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships with Dealership management teams with focus on the Dealership Service department
• Ability to work with minimal direction and be responsible for self-training to maintain and increase skills
• Excellent communication skills and time management to successfully prioritize and deliver critical services. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Ability to create budget reports and track expenses
