Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of skilled developers to build exceptional internal solutions for our business and support teams.
Dive into the heart of challenges by troubleshooting and swiftly resolving customer issues.
Evaluate and enhance core product functionalities, crafting tools that empower our business and support team’s decision-making process.
Work alongside front-end and back-end developers to create state-of-the-art interfaces and strengthen our backend-side logic layer.
Be a driving force in defining how our applications look and function, making a significant impact on both UI elements and server-side infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
A strong understanding of software engineering, Computer Science, and Object-Oriented Design/Analysis (OOD/OOA).
3+ years of hands-on experience building production software as a Software Engineer.
Mastery in developing web applications using ReactJS, Ruby, and Nodejs.
Proficiency in using noSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
Experience in creating RESTful APIs adhering to industry standards.
Familiarity with git source control, Continuous Integration, GitLab, and other automated testing tools.
At least 2 years of full-time backend development experience with Ruby.
A team player with a passion for mentorship and collaboration.
Architect, design, create, and maintain customer-facing web applications and toolsets.
Assist and troubleshoot with technical support staff to resolve product-related issues.
Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process, ensuring top-notch applications.
Capable of rapidly developing frontend user interface applications to support back office and internal stakeholders.
Strong expertise in managing, maintaining, and optimizing applications based on prevalent standards and practices.
Desired Skills
Experience working with GraphQL, elevating your engineering prowess.
Proficiency in client-server architecture and the publish/subscribe pattern.
Strong background using Backend frameworks like Sinatra or Rails.
Professional experience with open-source Big Data Technologies.
Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, and Gulp.js.
Embrace Agile development and Continuous Delivery practices to foster innovation.
Solid experience in relational database engines, with Firebird as a bonus.
Comfortable with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting, expanding your technical horizons.
