Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Summary of Role:

Looking for an Electrical Engineer with strong software skills to work with a team of mmWave engineers developing next generation mmWave test equipment. The intern would specifically work on automating our RF tester calibration system software to reduce the time required to calibrate a mmWave tester and allow manufacturing technicians to perform this engineering task. The candidate would be work in a state of the art mmWave lab with the latest in mmWave bench equipment and a staff of CS, EEand RF engineers on the software and hardware debug of the system. This internship position will be based out of and support our Essex Vermont location.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Understand board level mmWave Schematics design ,using Allegro ADS, HFSS

• Use mmWave lab equipment to debug RF Hardware

• Write C++ code in a Linux environment

• Work with Engineering team on assigned projects.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

• Class or hobby Experience using C++ in a Linux environment

• Candidate must work on site in Essex Junction Vermont

• Education – MS or Phd in Electrical Engineering

• Experience – College course work – Travel – (0% of travel required)

• Language Fluency – English

• Physical Capacity Demands – Carry a 10lb printed circuit board and use lab bench equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phd EE candidate in an RF or mmWave major

• C++ experience in a Linux environment
