Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years of experience working as a brand/marketing manager.
- Experience with business-to-business (B2B) marketing.
- Ability to speak and write in Spanish and English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working for a brand advertiser, media agency, or B2B advertiser.
- Experience in leading high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of online industry platforms and trends, as well as an understanding of Google’s ad products.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving context.
- Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies and manage stakeholders, executive management, external agency partners, and peers.
- A passion for technology, creativity, and leadership to execute effectively.
About the job
As the Head of Marketing for Ads, you will shape Google’s point of view on the changing advertising landscape and support Google’s growth through effective and results-focused marketing programs. You will drive marketing strategy, planning, and campaign execution to support the sales teams in driving advertising business. You will find innovative ways to engage decision makers, educate the users of our products, promote Google’s business brand, and equip our sales teams with the information/tools they need to promote more effectively, as well as develop compelling communications and creative assets that shift advertiser perceptions and behaviors.
You will provide marketing programs that establish fresh thinking in the industry and grow engagement with customers as well as manage/lead a team.
In this cross-functional role, you will work with PR and Sales, as well as collaborate with other marketing teams across Google’s global offices. You will act as a regional point of contact, in order to obtain optimum resourcing, align plans/strategies, and enable cross-sharing of best practices with Global teams.

Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional programs.
- Identify and build innovative marketing strategies and plans to engage brands and agencies with insights such as leadership articles, customer and executive presentations, case studies and other content about Google and YouTube’s products, and drive business results for the customers.
- Identify and scope areas for experimentation to drive advertiser and agency education, engagement, and Google solutions adoption.
- Work with stakeholders across local, regional, global sales, and marketing organizations and set/manage marketing budgets and appoint/manage creative and event agencies.
- Lead strategic planning, goal setting, budget management, and reporting for Ads Marketing and define/execute the B2B marketing strategy with Sales, PR, and global teams, aligning with overall objectives.
