Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in technical development or consulting/supporting partners on mobile app/games.
- 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams and/or external partners.
- Experience with SQL/writing programs in an Object Oriented Programming (OOP) programming language like C#, Java, or Python.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in improving apps/games quality by using platform capabilities, best practices, and testing tools (e.g., Android Vitals, Crashlytics, FTL, Pre-launch Reports, etc.).
- Experience using static and dynamic analysis to troubleshoot/optimize app performance.
- Experience with operational processes/disciplines, resource planning, and allocation.
- Experience with coding in a general programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin).
- Knowledge of mobile business models and in-game economies.

Ability to create/deliver emails and presentations for audiences and executives independently.
About the job
As the Product Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for working with partners in implementing changes, measuring success, and activating resources within Google to provide design, technical guidance, and support. You will engage strategic partners by identifying and prioritizing technical opportunities, requirements, and creating plans for each partner accordingly.
The Technical Consulting team works closely with Partner Managers and Developers to build apps that lead to business success.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Consult with partners to understand their business metrics and priorities. Identify business opportunities and challenges that can be addressed through technical optimizations.
- Utilize testing and experimentation tools to conduct technical analysis and provide recommendations that lead to measurable impact on the partners businesses.
- Develop technical quality best practices and solutions to help partners maximize success on Android and Google Play. Engage with product teams to develop technical/quality guidelines, linking problems to standard recommendations that impact business metrics.
- Collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams on improving tools and processes to scale technical consulting globally. Communicate latest updates to cross-functional stakeholders and vendor teams.
- Define the direction of technical consulting based on internal and post-consultation developer feedback and performance impact.
