GoStudent GmbH Hiring For HR Generalist (Canada) at Toronto, ON Full Time

In our HR Generalist role, you will be directly involved in the success for the Canadian market. You will be able to put your own stamp on the HR development within our Toronto and Vancouver offices and open more perhaps when the time comes. This role will involve:

• Supervision, optimization & organization of the recruitment process for a variety of positions in the operational team
• Creation and implementation of job ads for the Canadian market and the various positions
• Onboarding of new employees for our office and supporting the opening of an office in Toronto and Vancouver
• Taking ownership of HR related projects and implement global initiatives in a way that works with the local market
• Creation of working documents (contract, home office agreements, etc.) and handling questions regarding the Canadian labor law
• Reliable and competent support of the existing teams with questions and problems

• Hard skills: You completed a bachelor degree in HR (or in a similar field of study) and have deep knowledge of the Canadian Labor Law
• Personality: You are professional and serious when dealing with people, have the necessary social skills and can easily express yourself and influence others
• Hands-on mentality: You help and show a high degree of initiative and responsibility; you like to be in touch with various people and personalities and learn as much as possible from your colleagues
• Solution-oriented: You are creative and always have the right solution ready for all problems and the skills to implement them operationally
• Organizational talent: You know how to structure yourself and keep a cool head and the overview even in stressful moments, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty
