About the role

This is a great opportunity for a passionate developer to join our team. You’ll be working alongside other talented devs and testers, with the latest tooling and technology, using agile methodology to develop, maintain and transform Greater Bank’s Loan Origination Suite.

In 2021/2 we are continuing a major program of work to expand our digital loan offerings and integrate our suite with new core partners. You will have an exciting opportunity to influence the future of banking and make your mark.

What we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

• Commercial software development experience of 2+ years
• Experience in C# and the .Net ecosystem
• Experience using technologies modern web tech like Angular and Typescript
• Experience in CI/CD practices; we use GitLab and Octopus Deploy
• An understanding of database technologies; ideally MS SQL Server
• Strong focus on prudent software development practices, automated testing, and automated deployment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound understanding of change management processes
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

In addition, the successful candidate will be experienced working on large scale development projects in a team environment and the ability to work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Testers and internal end users on a daily basis.
