Safety Guru with a Sense of Humour:  You’ll bring a great attitude, a strong Health & Safety mindset, and a knack for detail.  We’re looking for a resilient, food production knowledge individual, who takes pride in their work.  An all rounder looking to grow and develop with a sense of humour as your secret weapon for making safety engaging!

What your day to day looks like:

• Monday – Friday/5 hours per day.
• 90% H&S Training & Admin with 10% People & Capability Admin
• Maintain and Develop Safety Programs: Create and update Health & Safety policies, training programs, and procedures to address risks and improve workplace safety for all employees.
• Conduct Training: Lead engaging Health & Safety training sessions and workshops for staff to promote best practices, safe work habits, and emergency response protocols.
• Analyse Incident Reports: Review and investigate workplace incidents or near-misses, analyse root causes, and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with management, employees, and external agencies to identify safety concerns, share best practices, and support a positive Health & Safety culture.

Your Experience & Knowledge

• Passionate commitment to Health & Safety. 
• Health & Safety Qualification, Level 4 and above.
• Proven Health & Safety experience – 5+ years.
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Food manufacturing industry experience ideal, but not required.
• Clear understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Coaching and development experience.
• High degree of competence in Microsoft Office suite
• Self-starter, creative, practical, with an attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
