We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Customer and Strategy directorate to help set the direction of the organisation and represent the voice of the customer, bringing together customer insight and knowledge of our external environment to shape and adjust our direction as needed.
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for defining the why, when, and what of the product that the development team build. In this exciting role, you will utilise your expertise in understanding the whole product life cycle stages, the key events and how the lifecycle helps maximise the benefits the product creates across its entire life. This includes the life cycle’s impact on the product performance, the product goals, the pricing, the marketing strategy and the options to revive growth as the product matures and grows.
Job Description
In this role you will use your knowledge of user needs and business goals to frame problems and set priorities for your delivery teams. You will form the vision for your product and engage with your teams and stakeholders in the development of that vision over time and keep people informed about the development of their products and promote their uptake. By representing users throughout the delivery process, you will use their feedback to inform continuous improvement.
This role will allow you to demonstrate your strong knowledge of product management techniques whilst also enabling you to develop your expert skills.

Person specification
To be successful in this role, you will be able to apply Product Management skills and Agile and Lean Practices. You will have proven experience of making user driven changes to an existing product or service along with the ability to identify a problem, analyse data and information to find a way forward.
You can challenge the as-is and influence senior colleagues to change practice, policy or legislation to enable delivery. You will create and nurture good working relationships outside your own directorate and communicate strategic visions and goals to a wide range of stakeholders.
Under HM Land Registry’s hybrid approach to working you will be expected to spend at least 40% of your working time in your contracted home office. The role will also require regular travel, which should be taken into account when applying.
Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
