Position Overview:
HomeServe is seeking a Product Owner with an Agile mindset to join the Global Automation Program. We drive ideas from concept to launch in a rapid fashion, taking smart risks on strategic and innovative offerings. We assemble solutions by building and integrating with a broader business ecosystem.

The team plays an integral role in driving innovation across new digital offering as well as shared capabilities based on emerging technologies. As such, we seek someone who can fluidly move among both worlds – Stretching the bounds of what is possible, at the same time, demonstrating rigor, transparency, and discipline in clearly-articulated, business-driven, outcome-oriented decision-making. We seek someone forward-thinking and future-oriented, but pragmatic in execution, who balances the creative with the analytic and is unafraid to challenge the status-quo.
Responsibilities:

• Set the strategic vision, product roadmap and success metrics for the new offering / capability in partnership with business and technology leadership
• Source emerging technology in partnership with procurement and business development
• Determine problem – solution fit by continuously pivoting and prioritizing features based on client feedback
• Accountable for creation and ownership of product backlog
• Contribute to business case development within their product scope
• Ensure product/capability delivery roadmap is aligned to the enterprise strategic goals
• Influence business partners and secure buy in to opportunities reflected on the product roadmap
• Be a leader in a matrixed cross-functional team of UX, technology delivery and shared services to deliver the product roadmap and track value capture
• Designs and adjusts product and adoption KPIs as product matures and derives cascading metrics down through to the development and delivery activities

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in product management with experience in successfully launching new capabilities, products, or platforms
• Familiarity and comfort with technology is a must to effectively communicate with architects, designers and DevOps
• An entrepreneurial spirit excited about the opportunity to lean into new emerging technology to solve business problems and create new opportunities
• A structured, data-backed and first-principles thinker who can cut through complexity
• Exceptionally clear oral and written communication who can flex across technical and business, and influence people across all levels
• Quick learner with a curious mind on top of the latest technology and industry trends
• Proven ability to lead a team, influence with and without authority, challenge the status quo, and create a competitive advantage for the organization.
• Demonstrates high levels of ownership and accountability. Self-starter and ability to effectively chart a path forward in ambiguous situations or under a general direction.
