Hospice Company Hiring for Quality Assurance/Patient Care Secretary – Hospice Job at Bedford, TX Full Time

Job Summary: The Quality Assurance and Patient Care Secretary role will consist of ensuring charting is in timely and compliant. Assisting with the preparation and fullfillment of all IDG requirements. Monitors and analyzes QA/PI issues and directs clinical staff with regard to agency policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

License: LVN or RN

Experience: Minimum one year experience as an LVN or registered nurse obtained within the last 36 months, QA and administrative experience health care (hospice preferred).

Essential Functions:

• Promotes timeliness, quality and compliance with clinical staff, through continuous monitoring of charts.
• Participates in the QAPI Program and assists in assuring appropriate corrective measures are performed
• Assisting with the preparation, notification and ensuring completion of the necessary requirements for upcoming IDG meetings
• Assist in organizing and running the IDG meeting to ensure all requirements get completed.
• Promotes and educates regarding the concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease
• Assisting in developing, implementing, and/or revising policies, procedures, and practices to improve the continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Assisting in developing, coordinating, and participating in a multifaceted educational and training program that focuses on the elements of the compliance program.
• Other duties as assigned
