IDC Hiring For External Title Vice President, Cloud, Datacenter and Future of Digital Infrastructure at Singapore Full Time

IDC is looking for an experience and dynamic candidate, currently or previously working in the IT/technology industry or IT/digital functional area. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about technology particularly in topics such as cloud, infrastructure and datacenter and where these markets (in terms of use/application and product development) are heading. He/she enjoys writing/analyzing and has a curious mind to proactively look for new insights and perspectives.

As the business unit leader and Vice President, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead a high-performing team with growth and success for IDC and the employees.

In terms of relevant experience, the candidate should have worked in a IT/technology industry in the capacity of a Marketer, Sales Leader, Product Manager, Channels Manager and/or Strategy/Market and Competitive Intelligence or in a IT/digital function as a technology practitioner in designing/managing/delivering technology projects for an enterprise or startup entity.

Roles and Responsibilities

– Leads a high-performance team of analysts across the APJ region to develop Cloud, Infrastructure and Datacenter research programs and initiatives that drive success for IDC.

– Partners and collaborates closely with other business units in the region as well as across the globe to build adjacency portfolios and drive customer stickiness and loyalty.

– Coaches and mentors direct and indirect analyst teams to increase IDC talent retention rate.

– Creates and curates research content and narratives for research programs as well as IDC and customers’ go-to-market deliverables.

– Builds and expands a network of research contacts and clients to bring new opportunities into IDC. To this end, partnerships with IDC sales and BD organization are important to drive commercial success.

– Always be ready to co-innovate/create new/hot research topics to keep IDC ahead of the market.
