Your day to day
When cleaning rooms, you will ensure rooms are always fresh, welcoming & clean for guests to relax in after their day exploring Queenstown. You will have an important part to play in keeping our 182 brand new rooms in top condition so an eye for detail and ability to notice if anything needs fixing will be key for this role.
It is also important to have our hotel just as clean as our rooms! Part of the role may be doing Public Area cleaning to ensure our public areas are always clean and sanitised! Areas this role is responsible for include lobby, public restrooms, corridors, meeting areas, fitness center & elevators etc. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work & hotel for this role as it is a key part of promoting a positive image to guests
What we need from you
Ideally you’ll have previous experience in housekeeping or the hotel industry. You’ll be skilled at prioritising tasks and take pride in your ability to clean areas to the highest standard.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:
- A positive and energetic attitude with a “can do” approach meaning you’re happy to roll up your sleeves and help everyone out
- A genuine want to be part of a hotel pre opening and join a highly motivated team
- Ability to be self motivated and a self starter that can take the lead in any situation
