iLiveWell Nutrition Therapy, a virtual practice of Registered Dietitians based in Austin, TX, has an opportunity for an outstanding administrative assistant. iLiveWell is one of the largest dietitian practices in the country and has a world-class team of dietitians and admins that provide nutritional care to many different types of patients. Our mission is to create affordable access to high-quality nutritional counseling for all Americans, which is why our practice takes pride in accepting many different types of insurance. Our practice has been growing rapidly due to high patient demand for our services, which is why we are hiring an administrative assistant to help us manage this growth.

We are hiring a positive team player, with exceptional overall communication skills and attention to detail proficiency. The ideal candidate will be solution oriented, able to work independently and take initiative, and follow through to the completion of assignments. Great common sense is helpful too. We are looking for a candidate who cares about helping patients with their health and is excited about the mission of expanding access to nutritional therapy and treating chronic conditions. Lastly, our new administrative assistant will have the ability to smile, laugh and help our practice continue to grow and prosper.

Responsibilities and duties

• Schedule and organize patient appointments

• Create and manage patient files

• Review and respond to emails and phone calls

• Communicate with insurance companies

• Act as a liaison between our providers and patients

• Assist with accounts receivable

• Other tasks to be assigned as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge and proficiency of G Suite

• Ability to take independent action and make sound decisions

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative and multi-task

• Detail-oriented and someone who follows through on what they say

Schedule

• Full-time work

• Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Experience

• Prior office experience is required

• Experience with Electronic Health Record programs or insurance billing is a plus

• Medical/healthcare background is also a plus

Work Location

• This is a remote work position (work from home).

Pay

• Starting salary $50,000 per year, review with potential for raise after successful completion of 90 day probationary period.
