In October 2021, Impact Fire Services acquired Fess Fire Protection. As a subsidiary company of Impact Fire Services, FESS Fire Protection has over 60 years of combined experience as a fire protection contractor and portable fire extinguisher distributor. As a special hazards and fire protection contractor for industrial and commercial fire suppression, fire sprinkler, and alarm systems, our team works closely with insurance companies and code enforcement officials to ensure that you are properly protected and in compliance with the latest guidelines.

The Fire Alarm Technician is to deliver quality products and services which meet or exceed the customer’s and industry standards, and to achieve customer satisfaction through a unified commitment to job competency and unsurpassed service.
Directly Reports to: General Manager – Alarm Division
Essential Job Functions:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician/Inspector and Service Person who is looking for an opportunity for advancement but willing to work in the field.
Candidates should have a good working knowledge of troubleshooting, programming, inspecting, and/or installing fire alarm systems.
Strong customer service skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Mechanical skills and aptitude.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Represent the company in a professional, credible manner in speech, written communications and appearance.
Able to adapt behavior to different people and situations. Be flexible by adjusting interpersonal approaches appropriate to the manager/employee.
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen, Background check and Driver License Check
Experience:
5 years related fire alarm experience
OSHA Safety Training (Preferred)
Licensing:
NICET II certification required, Low Voltage License a plus along with general construction project experience being a plus. Must be able to learn quickly, read blueprints and work well with others.
