Our people have provided professional services in theInformation Technology field for our customers with a commitment to customersatisfaction for over 30 years.IMG is hiring a full-time Unified Communications Tier 1 Technician withTS/SCI at its Colorado Springs, COlocation.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing multiple services in the realm of UnifiedCommunications to include Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and video streamingwithin the Enterprise; supporting a 24×7 NOC (Network OperationsCenter). Responsibilities include Tier I resolution and customer support forscheduled or active Video Teleconferences. Candidate will become familiar withthe use of VC Wizard, Multipoint Control Unit (MCU), TelepresenceManagement System (TMS) and various other tools as required.Manage resource availability and conflicts for Video Networks.Ensure compliance with VTC network security policies and procedures.Interface with vendors to ensure proper performance of tools and softwarepackages.Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI’s) as directed by GDITManagement.Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution.Participate in special projects as required by GDIT Management.QualificationsClearance Required: TS/SCI to start. Candidate must be able to pass a CIPoly.Required Certification: Must be DD 8570 IAT II compliantDesired Certifications:Network +CCNACCNP Collaboration (Highly Desired)ITIL FoundationsEducation/Experience:Meets one of the following education/experience combinations:High School Diploma + 7 yearsAssociate’s Degree + 5 yearsBachelor’s Degree + 3 yearsMaster’s Degree + 1 yearsPhD + 0 yearsTechnical knowledge of VoIP / analog telephony systems, software,hardware, and Telecommunications standards, Cisco Unified CommunicationsManageTechnical knowledge of instant messaging systems, preferably Cisco Jabber.Technical knowledge of video streaming to include set top box and Vbrick.Technical knowledge of VTC equipment such as Cisco Telepresence ManagementSuite, Tandberg and Cisco CODECs and MCUs.Comprehensive knowledge of network topology; along with networked hardwareand software tools listed above.Familiarity with VTC service and support to include scheduling,monitoring, administrative support and technical assistance to customers.Flexibility Requirement:NOC is 24×7 shift work; to include weekends and holiday for all employeesDay Shift: 6am – 2:30pmSwing Shift: 2pm – 10:30pmMid Shift: 10:30pm – 6amCOVID Vaccination: As required by Executive Order 14042 and the guidanceprovided by the Federal Workforce Task Force, all federal contractoremployees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
