Roles & Responsibilities:
As a safety manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of Safety Programs and ensuring employees are following OSHA regulations and company safety polices throughout the branch. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Provide technical support to management on safety compliance and OSHA regulations
Assist with operations injury analysis on all accidents, and personally conduct the analysis of all serious injuries, and fatalities that may occur
Ensures all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion
Administer Safety Meetings and influences employees on the proper safety guidelines and polices
Complete Random job site check to ensure employees are following OSHA and PPE requirements
Monitors safety equipment in all vehicles, and building including, first aid kits, and fire extinguishers.
Complete and review accident reports and complete post drug testing
Oversee DOT training for drivers and administer pre-employment training to all new hires
Keep up to date records and track completion of safety trainings per all employees.

Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to multi-task
Familiar with OSHA Guidelines and procedures, OSHA Certified a plus
Good data entry skills
Proficient in Microsoft office, including word, excel, and outlook
Mechanically Inclined
Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
Excellent attention to detail and be able to analyze the information
Basic Math skills
Must have a valid driver’s license to drive a company vehicle.
Physical Demands:
As a safety coordinator, this position will occasionally ascend/descends ladders, lift up to 50lbs. Able to operate a computer and basic hand tools and equipment. Able to walk, stand, stooping, kneeling, bending, couching, pushing, pulling and reaching for sustained periods of time
