Job Description
Intel’s Logic Technology Development (LTD) and Frame Automation Team (FRAT) is responsible for developing automation that enables unparalleled productivity and capabilities to support the Frame. We work in a cross-functional environment with engineers of varying disciplines spanning Material Science, Process Engineering, Design Automation and Software Engineering. As a software engineer in Frame Automation, you will be working on a configuration management system and design processing pipeline, which handles data that is used for all chips manufactured by Intel. We are looking for a software engineer who will be directly responsible for building key components for this platform.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in one or more of the following:
High-level programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript)
REST API design and back-end software development
Modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular 2)
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of experience with one or more of the following:
UNIX/Linux platforms
Using messaging/streaming systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka)
Working with CI/CD and familiarity with DevOps tools
Working with containerization technologies and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Developing on public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
