Based within Student, Placement and Trainee Support Department, you will be responsible for providing full administrative and secretarial support to the Hospital Dean of Undergraduate Medical Education in line with The University of Manchester Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) degree course, and the Director of Post Graduate Medical Education in association with Health Education England Northwest. Your duties will also extend to supporting the Deputy Director of Education to include arranging staff, student and other meetings as required.
You must display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times. You should be hard working, highly organised, possess good oral and written communication skills, have good computer skills and be flexible to the needs of the department.
You will need to demonstrate a track record of strong interpersonal skills, and strong skills in using various IT packages for minutes, arranging meetings and appraisals and data gathering.
Being able to think innovatively and to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff across departments is essential. This position would suit a motivated, organised individual with good communication skills, who would enjoy the challenge of a demanding, but rewarding work environments.

Responsibilities will also extend to supporting certain aspects of the diary management for Undergraduate Hospital Associate Deans, Post Graduate Associate Director, and the Deputy Director of Education to include arranging staff, student and other meetings as required.
