The Student Wellbeing Services team are seeking to appoint a Student Casework and Data Manager. This role will provide highly effective leadership and management expertise in student casework to the Associate Director (Student Wellbeing and Inclusion) and the Head of Student Support and Wellbeing. You will develop and implement effective processes for managing complex student casework, improving data management and reporting for Student Wellbeing Services, and responding to and adopting the student-related best practice and compliance requirements set out by statutory and regulatory bodies such as the Office for Students (OfS), Universities UK (UUK), Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) and Advance HE.
The role is pivotal in ensuring that the University’s policies and procedures are followed correctly and that all parties are engaged in the processes effectively. You are expected to work independently and with minimal supervision, using your experience to take a proactive approach to supporting students, managing institutional risks and drawing on internal and external specialist services as appropriate. You will be expected to take decisions and make recommendations drawing on the specialist advice available. You will be expected to manage a large caseload in which there are areas of significant complexity and internal and external partners involved.
You will join the Student Wellbeing Services Management Team and will report to the Head of Student Support and Wellbeing. This is a fixed-term post for 2 years established to facilitate progress towards achieving the University’s strategic aims with respect to student wellbeing. You will be expected to manage and contribute to relevant projects that form part of this portfolio.

You will join us on an indefinite contract however, the role remains contingent on external funding which, at this time is for 24 months.
