Lidl Hiring for Warehouse Operative – Freezer Picker Job at Newbridge , Ireland Full Time

Your Tasks

• Picking Freezer and Bake-Off items from 9am until 6pm
• Working in a temperature-controlled Freezer environment (-24 Degrees)
• Take responsibility for working through your orders independently
• Keep our distribution centre clear and ensure any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently
• Always maintain strict food safety and health and safety standards

Your Profile

• Some experience of working in a fast-paced, target driven environment
• Willingness to work with all different types of stock, in temperature-controlled areas
• Comfortable with operating moving equipment
• A flexible can-do attitude
• Good attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding numerical skills
• A sense of pride in a job well done
• Prepared to work shift work, including weekends

We Offer

• €12.90 per hour rising to €14.90ph over 4 years
• All PPE will be provided. E.g. Freezer suits, Gloves, Hats, Insulated Boots
• Paid 20 minutes warm up break after every 2 Hours of picking
• Additional supplements paid depending on the days & hours worked
• 25% additional pay for any unsocial hours worked
• 50% supplement for any hours worked over 39 hours
• 50% supplement working on a Sunday
• 75% supplement working unsocial hours in conjunction with working over 39 hours or on a Sunday
• 100% supplement working on a bank holiday
• 20 days holidays per annum pro rata
