About Likewise
Likewise is an innovative social care and mental health charity working at the heart of the Camden community to support individuals experiencing marginalisation and social exclusion.
Our culture is all about being human together – more human organisations do more human work. We put a lot into having authentic relationships, work hard to support each other’s sense of belonging and love learning together through the work we do.
The Wellbeing Support Worker Role
We’re looking for up to five Wellbeing Support Workers to join our team. In these roles you will work with people in the community who may be finding life difficult, providing them with emotional and/or practical support to navigate their challenges with a sense of acceptance and belonging.
You will engage with our experiential learning programme to develop your skills in emotional intelligence, leadership, communication, working with challenging behaviours and much more. You will also be instrumental in shaping our organisational learning and development.
As Wellbeing Support Workers you will deliver our 1-to-1 support offers, some of which are carried out in close partnerships with other teams and organisations such as the local NHS Trust and other Voluntary Sector partners.
Across our partnerships, our 1-to-1 support has been designed to provide person- centred, flexible community support for people living with mental illness. You will build a relationship with people to understand together how their wellbeing can be supported and sustained. This might include linking them to community opportunities, working on benefits issues, finding debt support, navigating housing challenges, building relationships and improving communication with their clinical teams. Whatever you do, it will be tailored to each individual and be flexible to them as their needs change over time.
