The starting salary for this role is £41,127 per annum, working 36 hours per week based at The Mansion, 70 Church Street, Leatherhead KT22 8DP.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract/ Secondment opportunity.
An exciting opportunity for a full time Education Safeguarding Advisor has arisen within Quality and Performance as part of our mission to support children and families so they can get the best outcomes in life.
The role plays an important part in achieving the vision that children and young people will be happy, healthy, safe and confident in their future. To achieve this the post holder will provide education safeguarding expertise to local authority colleagues, external agencies, early years providers and education settings to ensure statutory safeguarding obligations are met and that children and learners are protected and feel safe in education settings.
The successful applicant for this role will be required to effectively communicate local and national policy, procedures and good practice with early years, school and education leaders (including governors), partner agencies and colleagues to promote and secure a culture of vigilance of safeguarding children in education.

The role is based in Leatherhead however, the post-holder will be required to travel around the county to fulfil their duties and on occasion work outside of usual office hours.
