Linen Chest Hiring for Data Entry Clerk (full-time) – Head Office, Laval, QC Job at Laval Full Time

We are actively looking for a Data Entry Clerk (Buying Department). The Data Entry Clerk reports directly to the Buying & Product Manager and is responsible for the data entry of new and existing products, ensuring product updates are made for both in-store and online inventory, preparation of advertised products for photoshoots, communicate with stores and suppliers when needed and the general maintenance of products.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry of new products;
• Ensure product updates have been made for the website/store sales signage;
• Enter product data in both English and French into the inventory management system;
• Preparation of purchase orders, confirmations, price tickets to send to suppliers (as needed);
• Compile samples/inventory for photoshoots and/or coordinate photography with suppliers;
• Complete reports for the Product Manager to amend quotas where necessary for stores/promotions;
• Communicate with stores/suppliers when needed;
• Maintain product specification sheets and description manuals.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills;
• Good at multi-tasking and working with a team;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Excellent communication skill and problem-solving capabilities;
• Retail sales experience and/or knowledge in home goods (an asset).

Job Type: Permanent, 40-hrs/week; Monday to Friday.
