£17000-19000 per annum (Pay-To-Scale)

LTF Recruitment are excited to be working with a lovely inclusive primary school in Nottingham, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their support staff team. The role will involve working within EYFS/KS1. The role is on a full-time basis to available to start immediately, with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Main Duties include

• Supporting children within a classroom setting
• Translating information and instruction from the class teacher to help students understand and learn.
• Liaising with the class teacher and school SENCO regarding pupil’s progress
• Working 1:1 and in small learning groups, with children who have special educational needs
• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working with within a school
• A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs
