Macquarie Asset Management has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Business Analyst to join the Document and Identity Governance (DIG) team in Sydney.In this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary scrum team working on the MAM-wide document management replacement and uplift program of work. You will work with stakeholders across the entire business and gain a deep understanding of records governance, the Macquarie-wide LCM program and advanced Microsoft 365 technologies.This is an opportunity to have a significant impact on the business and support Macquarie Asset Management’s move towards an enhanced user experience, increased productivity, and reduction of risk through the adoption of a modern toolset.As a Contract Business Analyst, you will be involved in:– Business analysis – undertaking data analysis, developing functional/non-functional requirements, as-is and to-be process transformation and designing/aligning to system architecture- Information management – records, data and knowledge management. Interpretation, mapping and classification of data using schemas, retention schedules etc.- Experience designing, testing and undertaking transformation activities associated with electronic document and records management systems.Key traits of the ideal candidate include:– A deep understanding of document management in a financial services setting, including records retention & disposal- Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to traverse multiple technologies to understand & classify complex data sets- Intermediate/Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, Sharepoint and records management technologies- Experience in a Financial Services or Consulting setting, delivering digital capabilities or other related change.- Inquisitive mindset, strategic thinker, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities- Adept at engaging, collaborating, and influencing people at all levels and areas- Ability to independently drive outcomes whilst working in a collaborative team environment- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Experience with document management tools (e.g., iManage) an advantage- Agile experience highly consideredAbout Macquarie Asset ManagementIn Macquarie Asset Management you will join a global asset manager that aims to deliver positive impact for everyone.
