Matapuna Trust Looking for Youth Support Worker at Gisborne Central, Gisborne Full Time
Student Support Person
Permanent position – minimum 37.5 hours per week. We seek a motivated, organized and supportive person to work with individuals or small groups of students under guidance. Previous experience working with youth is preferred but not essential.
Ideal applicant will demonstrate:
- Excellent relationship building and management skills
- A caring, empathy and tolerance
- Be a team player
- A positive role model that can motivate and inspire youth to achieve to their potential
- A commitment to Te Triti o Waitangi
Applicants must have a full license, be able to pass a Police Vet to work with vulnerable children and be drug free.
