Summary:
The Meta Immersive Learning Team is pioneering an ecosystem to help develop the next generation of metaverse creators, fund high quality immersive experiences that transform the way we learn, and increase access to learning through technology.The Meta Immersive Learning team is seeking a Partnerships Lead to help source and manage an ecosystem of partners to drive Meta Immersive Learning Goals and demonstrate the power of learning in the Metaverse. We are looking for a high-performing, solution-oriented partner manager who is passionate about driving economic opportunity and transforming learning through immersive technology. This person will play a key role in defining and driving impactful partnerships to sustain and evolve our initiatives to support learning in the Metaverse. The candidate will possess superior analytical skills and the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of partners and management. This role is critical to our success and will require someone who can thrive in a team-oriented environment, working cross-functionally with product, content, programs, partnerships, marketing, communications, legal and sales.
Required Skills:
Develop the partner ecosystem across all regions to support the development and scaling of Meta Immersive Learning.
Create strategic relationships that will lead to successful business models for our partners, products, and programs.
Set targets and goals with partners and ensure delivery against milestones and goals.
Maintain account plans and build close working relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsible for managing pipeline information and partner relationships to identify potential new business leads, growth opportunities or future competitive trends.
Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new programs, products, and distribution channels.
Provide an objective commercial viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of commercial and competitive information.
Work in a fast-paced and iterative environment with leaders across Product, Content, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Policy and Partner management teams.
Develop and execute the partnership strategies for the four pillars of Meta immersive Learning: Creator Training, Content Development, Access, Research.
Work with cross functional teams to identify product gaps that can be addressed through partnerships.
Along with cross functional teams, create, maintain and influence relationships with key ecosystem players to help establish a narrative and trust for Meta Immersive Learning initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
12+ years experience delivering partnerships from inception to delivery.
Proven experience creating, negotiating and closing complex deals.
Experience in the Education sector and EdTech industry.
Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience.
Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with immersive technology.
People management experience.
Project management experience.
