A challenging and exciting opportunity has come about within our Refugee Status Unit. You will be joining a dedicated team who are passionate about their work. We are currently seeking Refugee and Protection Officers to help shape refugee lives.
As a Refugee and Protection Officer (RPO) you will be making decisions on refugee and protection status in accordance with New Zealand and international law. This will involve interviewing claimants, conducting investigations, analysing relevant information, and writing quality decisions.
This is a role that will allow you to use your past experiences, accomplishments, and learning along with your strong analytical skills to make sound and reasoned decisions.
