Ko Tōu Ake Mahi – What You’ll Do
Our Senior Recruiters partner closely with their business groups to provide best practice recruitment advice, solutions and to develop sucessful, long term strategic relationships. They are supported by Recruitment Advisors and Coordinators to ensure our processes run smoothly and efficiently. Our aim is to make sure the team enjoys their work and develops some new skills along the way.
In this role you will be engaging with your portfolio business groups leadership teams to hatch some recruitment plans and to strategise their approach to resourcing. You’ll have your own LinkedIn licence to help you engage with and source the best candidates for your roles and you’ll get the opportunity to identify and lead improvement projects both for your stakeholder groups but also the wider team.
You will have exposure to working with HR Advisory on the development of position descriptions and job evaluations. As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and shape the future of recruitment practices within the Ministry. The recruitment landscape is ever-changing, and we need someone who can roll with the punches and can adapt to different situations. Your ability to read the room and adjust accordingly will be key!
