Mō te tūranga | About the role

You will help to build the analytics capabilities by delivering relevant and actionable insights to our stakeholders, and by increasing awareness of good data practice.  The IBB Business Performance team is a fast paced and nimble team specialising in end-to-end data analytics from data creation right through to actionable insights. You will work collaboratively with the team and our technology partners in building a lean analytics pipeline by:

• Working with internal stakeholders on understanding the business and their requirements around insights

• Using your analytics experience on designing, building and delivering insights reporting to the stakeholders

• Contribute to better analytics capabilities in the team by creating quality reusable data assets as well as automated data processes

• To ensure the approach to data aligns to IBB Data Strategy as well as WNZL’s Data Mesh

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

• Demonstrable experience in building and operationalise end-to-end insights solution

• Strong in SQL with demonstrable experience in building ETL process

• An understanding of data governance, data quality and data visualisation and tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau

• Ability to work with large and complex data sets

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage and build relationships with internal stakeholders and teams

• Strong problem-solving skills and a team player

• General understanding of statistics with business acumen

• Experience with Power Platform, MS Dynamics 365, Python, PySpark (optional), SAS would be highly advantageous
