Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited Looking for Drive-Thru Supervisor at Upper Hutt, Wellington Region, New Zealand Full Time

Mitre 10 Mega Upper Hutt, is a dynamic and growing company, with a vision to provide great quality products and the best value and expertise to enable our customers to have an affordable and easy DIY experience. This is your chance to grow your career within our “big box” format store. This role operates within our Trade Yard and Drive Thru area and reports to the Drive Thru Manager.

A Bit About The Role

In this role you will need excellent team leadership skills, great communication skills, and a stellar customer service background. You’ll be a natural problem solver who remains calm under pressure, always ready and willing to help customers, tradies, and team members alike.

The successful applicant must have had previous experience in supervising a team and good product knowledge to assist our Trade and DIY customers.

Hours Of Work Will Be

Tuesday – Saturday: 9.45am-6.15pm

Ideally the successful applicant will have:

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Experience leading a team with the ability to develop and mentor a diverse group
• Ability to maximise team productivity
• Ability to manage a varied and busy workload
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions
• General computer skills and understanding of administrative process
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Knowledge and understanding of health & safety systems/processes
• Be physically fit as there will be prolonged walking and standing on concrete floors, manual handling and lifting
• Forklift licence is preferred, but a willingness to upskill and get your forklift endorsement is a must
• Willingness for overtime if required
