Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited Looking for Driver Team Leader and Logistics Co-ordinator at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Based at the Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate store, we are seeking someone who has the ability to take on responsibility for organising and monitoring the daily delivery commitments of the Henderson and Westgate stores and leading the team of delivery drivers.

This Role Is Responsible For

• You will be responsible for deliveries as a core function of the role.
• As team lead you will organise and monitor the daily delivery commitments and transfers of the Henderson & Westgate stores
• Organising efficient and cost-effective deliveries, by co-ordinating deliveries based on load capacity, routes, and timelines, to maximise driver productivity, reduce costs and meet delivery commitments.
• Balance the drivers’ health and safety with customer delivery requirements
• Taking calls, scheduling routes, and calling customers prior to delivery
• Planning, managing, supervising, and coordinating all delivery related activities.
• Oversee a team of drivers on a daily basis.
