Care Coordinator Opportunity

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating positive experiences for customers during their interactions with Mood, including intake, scheduling, billing, insurance support, and more
• Administrative duties including insurance verification & eligibility, patient paperwork, etc
• Communicate effectively and provide support to our clinical team and teammates
• Responding to customer service inquiries and communicating messages between nurse practitioners, doctors, and patients
• Master our technology suite, including but not limited to Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Zendesk, and IntakeQ, in order to interact with team members, and patients, and complete daily work
• Manage the addition of insurance information and communicate benefits to patients
• Strong understanding of services provided by Mood Health and the ability to communicate them clearly and confidently
• Adherence to HIPAA and all confidentiality requirements

These responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in the Care Coordinator position. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of job duties. Other job related duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Weekend availability
• At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles
• At least 1 year of experience verifying and communicating insurance benefits & eligibility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse, and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams
• A proven track record of persisting through change, demonstrating a forward-thinking perspective when under pressure, and consistently stepping up to take action on challenges
• Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
• HIPAA compliant remote working conditions
• A professional and empathetic demeanor is required when interacting with patients, clinical staff, and colleagues
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible
• Eligible to work in the United States

Hours will be 20 hours per week to start with the potential to go full-time dependent on company needs and performance.
